Abstract

Background : The current trend, number of lymphedema patients are increasing. Lymphedema can lead to pain and limit of range, a failing-off in quality of life.

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to examine the details of lymphedema material for the lymphedema rehabilitation by analyzing the written theses in past.

Conclusion : As results of considering the past papers, we found that the upper limb training and bandaging had the most remedial effects on the lymphedema patients as the intervation for the decongestion and limited function. With the intervention for increasing the quality of life, it was the most effective to have the complex decongestive physiotherapy. We thought that with the appropriate mixture of the upper limb training and bandaging, if we use these applications to the lymphedema patients, we will have better results than before.
