Abstract

The exact diagnosis of neuromuscular junction disorders, such as myasthenia gravis and Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome is important because these conditions could be properly managed with appropriate medications. Of the utmost importance in the diagnosis of these diseases are characteristic clinical features. Autoantibodies and electrodiagnostic tests as well as simple bedside examinations are also widely used for diagnosing myasthenia gravis and its related disorders.
