Abstract

The main purposes of root canal treatment are to minimize the number of microorganism/pathologic debris, avoid percolation of potential residual toxins into the periradicular tissues, prevent or treat the apical periodontitis or periradicular lesions. For this purpose we need to understand the root canal preparation procedure and the anatomic constraints of the root canal system. In this oral presentation, we will discuss about the essential and efficient materials and methods to achieve the aims of endodontic procedures and Biologically Optimal Root Canal Preparation.
