Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this research is to disclose the particular experiences of Enneagram Type 6 (ET6) with treating the Passion.
Methods: This research utilized grounded theory approach in order to study the experiences ET6 with treating the Passion, to disclose the basic socio-psychological process of them and to develop a substantive theory with regards to these finding. The author had in-depth interviews and participant observations with them until they were saturated. Total 12 ET6 participated in this study.
Results: As a result, 78 concepts, 32 subcategories and 13 categories were generated and paradigm model was proposed as follows. The causal conditions were ¡®Leaning like a habit¡¯, ¡®Wanting to maintain independence¡¯. The central phenomenon was ¡®Being captured by fear¡¯ for ET6. The contextual condition was ¡®Level of mental health¡¯. The intervening condition was ¡®Facing to myself¡¯, ¡®Knowing myself with others help¡¯. The action/interaction was ¡®Being swayed between the extremities¡¯, ¡®Seeing myself having been swayed between the extremities¡¯, ¡®Being balance¡¯, According to consequences, ET6 can select ¡®Being lethargy¡¯, ¡®Being aggressive¡¯, ¡®Having two hearts of both extremities¡¯, ¡®Being the owner of my life¡¯.
Conclusion: Although this study tried to grow and convert by according to typology induced from in depth analysis of Treating with Passion of ET6.
