This paper aims to explore the different welfare attitudes of wage workers who have different employment relations. Based on dualization theory, we examine the differences of welfare attitudes of wage workers in the dualized labor market. While we explore the 2010 Korean Welfare Panel Data, independent variables include income level, employment relation, working time, working contract period, and other social demographic factors. Dependent variables include public support for welfare policies and other related policy issues. This study finds that wage workers generally support the expansion of social expenditure for state welfare. Among them, low income group and temporary workers are more willing to support welfare expansion. In particular, temporary workers are more supportive for the active / passive labor market policy and employment insurance. This study suggests that we need to develop relevant policy proposals to tackle the insider-outsider dilemma in a dualized labor market.
