Abstract
Peptic ulcer disease is one of the most commonly encountered gastrointestinal diseases in Korea. The trend of peptic ulcer disease in Korea has changed in the past decade in regard to increasing age of the population, underlying disease and the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. This article reviews the published literature pertaining to the endoscopic findings and differential diag-nosis of peptic ulcer disease.
