Abstract

본 연구는 어머니가 실행하는 공동관심 중심의 놀이 활동을 실시했을 때 자폐 범주성 장애 영아의 공동관심선행기술과 공동관심행동이 증진되는지를 알아보기 위해 실시되었다. 중재는 공동관심행동을 보이지 않는 30개월 이하의 자폐 범주성 장애 영아 3명을 대상으로 참여자간 중다 기초선 설계를 사용하여 중재의 효과를 검증하였다. 연구자는 어머니교육과 피드백으로 이루어진 어머니훈련을 제공하였으며, 어머니는 매일 영아와 30분의 공동관심 중심의 놀이 활동을 실행하였다. 연구 결과, 어머니가 실행하는 공동관심 중심의 놀이 활동은 참여 영아의 공동관심선행기술과 공동관심행동 발생률 증가에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났으며, 2명에게서 종료 4주 후에도 그 효과가 유지되었다. 공동관심선행기술은 2명에게서 대상 일반화, 1명에게서 상황 일반화되었고, 공동관심행동은 2명에게서 대상 일반화되었으나 모두에게 다른 상황으로 일반화되지 않았다. 연구 결과를 근거로 자폐 범주성 장애 영아를 위한 어머니 실행 놀이 중재의 의의에 대하여 논의하였으며, 향후 연구에 대해 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study is to find out whether the mother mediated joint attention-focused play on promoting precursors of joint attention and joint attention behaviors for ASD toddlers. The participants in this study were three toddlers with ASD who were under 30 months, didn’t show the joint attention behavior. This study used a multiple baseline design across participants to verify the intervention effects. The researcher gave mothers training which was consist of mother education and feedback, and mothers implemented 30 minutes joint attention-focused play every day. The results of the study were as follows. First, all toddlers showed improvement in the rate of precursors of joint attention and joint attention behavior through mother mediated joint attention-focused play. Second, in four-week follow-up observation, two toddlers were maintained. Third, precursors of joint attention were generalized to the other family members for two toddler and to the other situations for one toddler. Joint attention behaviors were generalized to the other family members for two toddlers but were not to the other situations. Implications and suggestions for the future directions of the related research were also discussed.
