Abstract
Telemedicine system was set up in the isolation room for radioisotope treatment of the patient with thyroid cancer using wired and wireless internet. The telecommunication system consisted of personal computers, mobile notebook computer, web camera and audio-facilities and used telecommunication software. We evaluated medical staffs¡¯ and patient¡¯s satisfaction using questionnaire. The system enabled the patient to communicate with the medical staffs instantly and patient¡¯s relatives, improving the quality of patient management in the isolation treatment room.
