Abstract
¿¬±¸¸ñÀû: ¿©·¯ °¡Áö Áö¿ª»çȸ ȹµæ °¨¿°Áõ ¹× º´¿ø ȹµæ °¨¿°ÁõÀÇ ÁÖ¿ä ¿øÀαÕÀÎ ´ëÀå±Õ (Escherichia coli)ÀÇ Ç×»ýÁ¦ ³»¼º ¾ç»óÀ» ÆľÇÇÏ´Â °ÍÀº, °¨¿°¼º ÁúȯÀÇ Ä¡·áÁ¦ ±ÇÀå ÁöħÀ» Á¦½ÃÇϰųª, °æÇèÀû Ç×»ýÁ¦ Ä¡·á¸¦ °áÁ¤ÇÏ´Â µ¥ Áß¿äÇÑ ÀÚ·á°¡ µÈ´Ù.

°á·Ð: ÀÌ·¯ÇÑ °á°ú¸¦ Á¾ÇÕÇÏ¿© º¼ ¶§, ½ÉÇÑ ´ãµµ°è °¨¿°, º´¿ø ȹµæ Æó·Å, º¹¸·¿° µîÀÇ °æ¿ì ´ëÀå±ÕÀÇ quinolone °¨¼ö¼ºÀÌ 50% ¹Ì¸¸À¸·Î ³ªÅ¸³ª Ãʱâ Ç×»ýÁ¦ ¼±Åÿ¡ ÁÖÀǸ¦ ±â¿ï¿©¾ß ÇÒ °ÍÀ¸·Î º¸ÀÌ¸ç ¿ä·Î °¨¿°ÀÇ °æ¿ì trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole¿¡ °¨¼ö¼ºÀÌ È®ÀÎµÈ °æ¿ì¶ó¸é ÀÌ ¾àÁ¦¸¦ Ä¡·á ¾àÀç·Î °í·ÁÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖÀ» °ÍÀ¸·Î »ý°¢µÈ´Ù.
Purpose : Surveillance on the antimicrobial resistance patterns of Escherichia coli provides useful basic data which can be used in making treatment guidelines of infectious diseases or suggesting empirical antibiotics to various infectious diseases.
Materials and Methods : This study is about antimicrobial resistance patterns of E. coli isolated from the patients who visited Chungbuk National University Hospital(CBNUH) during the year 2011 and 2012. We analyzed the anitibiotic resistance of E. coli according to the clinical specimens and the clinical characteristics of the patients.
Results : A total of 3233 isolates of E. coli were reviewed in this study. The most frequent clinical specimens where E. coli had been isolated were urine (68.4%) and blood (13.5%). E. coli isolates from urine or blood were more susceptible to trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole and quinolones and less frequently produced Extended Spectrum Beta-Lactamases (ESBLs) than those from sputum, ascites and pus. E. coli which were isolated from female patients were more susceptible to trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole and amikacin than those which were isolated from male patients.
Isolates from female patients produced ESBL less frequently than those from male patients. Isolates from patients ¡Ã65yrs showed higher quinolone resistance than those from patients <65yrs.
Conclusions : The result of this study is the basic data of antimicrobial susceptibility of E. coli isolated from CBNUH. This data can be very useful in selecting empirical antimicrobial regimens targeting E. coli.
